The space designed by Matitarch has been studied with the intention of interpreting an attempt to search for a unitary moment between the expressions of different faiths and spiritualities.
A circular path invites to cross the threshold of the intimate space of recollection. There, the light that descends from above and reflects on the white spaces at the top descends until it meets the natural earth color of the seats, on which to rest in meditation. Self-sufficient modular elements allow you to compose, interchange and transform the space as needed.
The room, wrapping around itself, creates an intimate protective-enclosure space in which to gather with one’s feelings.
The images intended to respectively evoke the sense of spirituality and meditation inside the chappel.
A fundamental role is played by the contrasts.
Light, colors, point of view of the images are studied in order to emphasize the dichotomy of spirituality: individual-part of a whole.
The first shot leads to look upwards, towards the light and the subsequent dematerialization of colors and structure.
The second view instead brings a more circular view due to the geometric curves and the greater presence of colors.
